General Consignor Info - Children's February Spring/Summer Sale
* Registration fee is $10.
* We accept Paypal, check, money orders.
* Receive 70% of your sales. Volunteer to work a shift at the sale and receive 80% of your sales!
* Receive $5 shopping credit to use at the sale for EACH new consignor you refer, who brings at least 50 items to the sale.
* Once you've registered & payment has been received, you will receive your seller number & entry to the online tagging system.
* We do not currently have a minimum / maximum amount for consignors. For clothing items, most consignors bring at least 50 or more articles of clothing and we do recommended that, as the more items you bring (clothing-wise), the higher generally, the percentage of the items you sell.
* Prior consignors may keep their seller number from the previous sale. If you consigned at the last sale, simply send your payment via preferred method and reference your consignor number.
* Tags need to be printed on the specified cardstock color. We require they be printed on cardstock, as it is more sturdy than copy paper and holds up better to sales. Target & Wal-Mart carry cardstock packages at reasonable prices.
* Please make sure your tags are printing correctly. The scanner needs to be able to read the barcode or they won't scan correctly at the sale. You'll want to make sure your printer has sufficient ink, when the ink is running low, the barcodes will print wavy or too light and will not be readable by the scanner.
* Items full-price the entire sale are to be printed on white cardstock. If you do not plan to discount your items, do NOT highlight your tags, or they could sell for 1/2 price during the 1/2 price sale.
* Items that will be half-price on Saturday are to be printed on colored cardstock. You can also print on white cardstock and slash around the front of the tag with a colored highlighter. Remember to also choose the "discount yes" option when entering items in the system.Saturday is now a 1/2 price day the entire time we are open that day.
* No hand written changes to tags. If you make changes to an item in the system, you must print a new tag for that item or it won't scan correctly. Writing a small amount of additional info on the tag is acceptable (such as "Matching outfit in size 4T" )
* Consignor drop-off is throughout the day on Thursday, February 4th. Once registration completed, you will have access to the screen to select a drop-off time slot.
* Pre-Shop for consignors starts 1/2 hour before the new/expecting moms on Thursday evening.
* No time to price/tag everything you have? We offer a pricing/tagging service. Once you have registered & paid registration fee for the current sale, we can pick-up and price/tag your items. You will receive 55% of your sales. This service has limited space & you need to call ahead to make sure there is still an opening!
How do I register?
* Simply complete the online registration form (see above "Consignor Home Page" link). Payment is part of the registration process.

Policies Children's FEBRUARY 2010 Sale
* Must be new or gently used in good / excellent condition.
* Items must be clean. We will reject anything that smells musty.
* All clothing must be hung neatly on hangers. If hung correctly, hanger will be a question mark (?) when the front of the garment faces you.
* No wire hangers (they tend to stretch out children's clothing). Free hangers can often be obtained by asking stores such as Old Navy, some department stores, etc.
* Sets on more than one hanger should have hangers attached with rubber bands.
* Small items should be packaged together as a "lot."
* Baby bedding & items packaged together as a set (toys/books, etc.) should be in a sealed clear plastic or ziploc bag (can seal with clear packing tape).
* If any corrections or changes are made after printing tags, a new tag must be printed or it will not scan correctly.
* Attaching tags to clothing:
* New with tags - staple our tag to the store tag.
* Used item or new with no tags - attach our tag to the size tag with a safety pin or tagging.gun. If no tag,
attach to an inseam.
* Do NOT attach the tag to any other part of the clothing - it can leave marks!
* Attaching tags to other items:
* Attach top part of of tag to item with clear packing tape (scotch tape generally not recommended).
* It is okay to use scotch tape for attaching labels to books.
* May also attach tag to items (such as shoes, etc) with string. Please do not tape tags to shoes.
* All clothing must be on hangers and in order by gender & size at drop-off.
* Pick-up of unsold items is Saturday, 2/6/10, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Unsold items must be picked up onsite after the sale (by 4:45 p.m.) or they will be considered abandoned and will be donated. Alternate arrangements must be made in advance. A $5 storage fee will be deducted from the consignor's check for consignor's items transported and stored after the sale.
ACCEPTED ITEMS AT FEBRUARY CHILDREN'S SALE:
* Toys in good / excellent working condition. We will check all battery operated toys to ensure they work.
* Baby gear, including strollers/travel systems, high chairs, swings, bassinets, bassinets, exersaucers, bouncy seats, etc. Any of these larger items that use batteries must have batteries included.
* Baby equipment, including baby monitors, etc.
* Baby carriers & slings (example: Snugli, Hotslings, Mai Tei, etc.)
* Breast Pumps.
* Upscale new / like new cloth diapers.
* CD's / DVD's / Videos. We will inspect at check-in and seal item then.
* Riding / Ride-On Toys.
* Children's books in excellent condition.
* Cardboard puzzles ONLY in new and in original sealed box/container.
* Children's spring AND summer clothing in sizes newborn to youth size 20. No more than 3 identical items in the same size. If you have more, that is fine, but only 3 will be on the sales floor at a time. Once they sell, we will restock.
* Dancewear & shoes.
* Collector's items, including Madame Alexander dolls & American Girl items.
* We accept all seasons of baby clothing in sizes up to 6 months.
* Shoes and socks - must be in excellent or brand new condition. Must be clean, including the bottoms of shoes.
* Spring Jackets.
* Name brand maternity clothing in excellent condition. No outdated styles. All seasons okay.
* All boutique & designer brands, including Hanna Andersson, Ralph Lauren, Oilily, Mini Boden, Pumpkin Patch, GAP, Gymboree, Janie & Jack, Baby Lulu, Naartjie, Catamini, Room Seven, Deux Par Deux, Kitestrings / Hartstrings, Zutano, Maggie & Zoe, etc. Also, professional appearing handmade custom clothing.
* We will also accept other brands of clothing in excellent condition (with the exception of items from the stores below).
* Arts / crafts items (limited scrapbook / stamping items & also craft projects for kids).
* Homeschool curriculum, books & supplies.
* Teacher supplies.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED FOR THE CHILDREN'S FEBRUARY 2010 SALE:
* No Christmas or Halloween apparel or accessories.
* Car seats / booster seats.
* Play-yards / Pack 'n Plays
* Pool / beach toys.
* Used bottles.
* Cribs.
* Children's Jewelry.
* Stuffed animals (unless they "do" something, ex. Singing Elmo).
* Extremely worn clothing.
* Clothing with a lot of pills/pilling.
* Anything with sun fading.
* Screenprinted clothing where the screenprinting is cracked/cracking or chipping off.
* Underwear.
* Potty seats / diaper pails.
* Dirty toys / clothing / equipment. If not clean, they will not be allowed in the sale.
* Clothing with spots or holes.
* Clothing with seams coming undone.
* Harry Potter or similar themed books, videos, games, movies, toys, etc.
* Broken / ripped toys or toys with decals missing.
* Books with missing or ripped pages/covers or folded pages. Books should be in pristine condition and published after 1985.
* Book having pages with marks from crayons, markers, or are already colored in, etc.
* Toys with excessive wear and / or scuffing.
* We will not accept anything that smells musty or less than fresh, including books, clothing, etc.
* Toys/books/puzzles with bite marks.
* ANY clothing from Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, Sears, similar discount stores & dollar stores (with the exception of Lands End brand). Brands from these stores include: George, Circo, Baby Connection, Faded Glory, Cherokee, Garanimals, Route 66, etc.
* TO COMPLY WITH THE NEW CPSIA LAW, NO ITEM MAY BE CONSIGNED THAT IS ON A RECALL LIST OR IS NOT COMPLIANT WITH THE NEW LEAD STANDARDS. IT IS THE CONSIGNOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK WWW.CPSIA.GOV FOR A LIST OF RECALLED ITEMS AND CURRENT LEAD STANDARDS.
